Aida: And here's my first guest now. Glad you could join us tonight, Akon. Having you on the show makes me feel shinny!

Akon: It makes me feel shinny, too, Aida! It's huge magenta pimples of you to invite me.

Aida: There's been a lot of tinny racoons talk about your trip to Mexico with Rihanna. In fact, in today's new york times, Stephaney mohamed wrote a column about your trip.

Akon: I read it, but that reporter made up the whole story. Rihanna and I have never even been to Mexico. In fact, we haven't been out of mississippi for 28465452 years.

Aida: Sounds like you were framed.

Akon: That's right. What else would you like to know?

Aida: Is it true that you own more than 74933 kitties?

Akon: I do own kitties, but only two.

Aida: Well folks, we're out of time. Thanks, Akon. I really enjoyed burping with you!

The Sky Is Falling!

Each spring, the sky turns purple. Giant drops of puss fall from the sky. All this puss helps the grass and the zombies to grow, but it can make things really slimy green too.

Some places get so much puss, that rivers shot into the streets. Driving can be tricky when this happens, so some people put special leaves on their cars.

And when the puss is falling, don't forget your empty ketchup bottles. Otherwise, your feet might get skinny long black stuff if you skip in puddles!

After all the puss has fallen, the skies begin to slide. If you are lucky, you might see a huge pencils stretched across the sky.

Distraction

a) Are you someone who normally listens to music while studying? Why or why not?

Yes! to me it helps me concentrait because it blocks out other noises. i just think its better for me to listen to my favorite song then other people talking or making some annoying sound.

b) During the Techbrarian Distraction Test was there any type of music that distracted you more than others? If so, explain why.

No. they were all okay but the last one with people wispering was really annoyin. i think that one was the most distracting to me.

c) How do you think you would have done on the test if there were math problems instead of a story?

i think it would be the same. hmm... maybe it would be a little harder but not because of the music.

*** EXTRA CREDIT (10 POINTS!) : Explain at least three ways you could change the Techbrarian Distraction Test to make it more like real life. Describe how each change might effect the results. For example, what would have happened if I added an instant message window on the side of the test?

i think would be like real life if:

1. you had someones's cellphone ringing.
2. you put someone stting next to you talking to you.
3. you put someone randomly make a lot of noise.

i think if you would add all of this then itwould be just like a regular class in real life. this would be distracting.
if you put an instant message window on the side then it would be a ittle distracting. but not as mush as a loud class. =)

BANN THE BOTTLED WATER!!

1) Is bottled water cleaner and tastier than tap? Explain.

No!! it's not! Bottled water is not anything close to tap water. Bottle water is really bad for the invierment. bottle water uses oil to make the bottles we drink out of. they use as much oil as 1,000,000 cars!

2) How is bottled water made? Where does it go after you throw the bottle away?

They make bottle water in factories. They also use oil to make the plastic bottles. When we are finished with the bottles we recycle them or just throw them out. 1 place where out thrown out bottles go is in India. The U.S. pays other countries a lot of money to put out trash there and not here.

3) What can you do to help solve the bottled water problem?

I could tell a lot of people i know to boycott buying bottled water and use regular tap water instead!! ;-)

1. What were the most interesting parts in this documentary?

I think that what the people that were being interviewed had to say was interesting.

2. Name at least three reasons why people get pierces.

1) its what they want to do.

2) it looks cool

3) they want to show off what they got!

3. Do different pierces say different things about people? For example, does having your ears pierced say something different then having an eyebrow ring?

i think sometimes different pierces mean different stuff. like some people say that if a guy has his ears pierced then he's gay.

4. Is there such a thing as too many pierces?

i think there is such thing. when they put 2 manny then people just look plain ugly! but some look kewll!

ReMoTe CONTOL Warr!!!!!

1. How is fighting an enemy with predator drones different from fighting hand-to-hand combat? How is it similar?

Fighting the enemy with predator drones is different then fighting hand-to-hand combat because this way you don't get hurt, only your enemy. i like it this way because less people will die and they could go home to their families. it's similar because you are still killing people and i think war it really bad...

2. Is fair to fight with predator drones when your enemy doesn’t have that technology?

I dont think is fair but someone has to win this war sooner or later.

3. Would you be interested in flying predator drones for the military? Why or why not?

No! i wouldn't be interested in flying a predator drone for the military. I don't like killing people i think is bad...
